He has established himself as a notable competitor in the rapidly growing sport of professional pickleball. Chicago-born Donald Young is yet another notable name in tennis to come compete in the world of professional pickleball. After a highly successful junior tennis career that saw him reach No. 1 in the junior world rankings at age 16, Young went on to have success on the ATP Tour in both singles and doubles. The lefty reached the 2017 French Open final in men’s doubles and made the 4 th round in singles at the US Open in both 2011 and 2015.
